After the success of the first single “We Will Not Be Silent”, which broke the Australian record for the longest running number 1 chart hit on Christian
radio, AB have released their second single “New York”. Only two weeks into its charting life it is sitting at number 13, this is unprecedented for an

August 2008: Alabaster Box to tour New Zealand, Australia and Hawaii in September and October

July 2008: USA radio single "Bigger" gets listed on the USA's prestigious "Radio and Records" list
Radio and Records is America’s preeminent information company that is responsible for tracking radio airplay in the USA. “R&R” as its known, has kept score
for Billboard to confirm positions for the Hot 100 and the Airplay Charts. This month Alabaster Box was mentioned on the Christian Rock Charts site.
July 2008: Australian tour dates announced

It’s been two years since AB have played a festival in Australia. So they are coming back with a bang and will be a headliner at Easter Fest, formally known
as AGMF. Crowd numbers are expected to pass 25,000 this year. This was the festival that kicked it all off for Alabaster Box, so it holds a special place
in each band members heart…expect a few surprises and a whole heap of new songs from the new CD!

May 2008: ‘We Will Not Be Silent’ has now climbed to 1 on Australian Nationwide Christian Radio and hung out there at the top for quite a few weeks running!

March 2008: NEW SINGLE RELEASED IN AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND!
January 29th heralds a huge day for AB, the first single release from their much-anticipated 4th album 'We Will Not Be Silent'. The title track of the album
a look into the gravity of the gift of salvation, is a song that holds much power for the band. "The world is depending on our generation" says Naarah, "We
can't afford to be silent about the power of Salvation through Jesus"
January 2008: AB confirmed as a headliner for Melbourne's Rezfest
March 2008 will see AB headline Melbourne's most anticipated Christian Music Festival, Rezfest. Other headliners include Newsboys, Jars of Clay and Planet
Shakers.
December 2007: AB HIT THE STUDIO
Well it's that time of year...AB has been touring everywhere from LA to New York, and somehow found time to write a bunch of great new songs on the way. Now
its time to put those songs to the test in the studio. The band has been working with some very fine Nashville-ian producers and engineers, and there's an
excited buzz in the AB bus these days! The album is titled "We Will Not Be Silent"and is set to be released around May 2008. "We will not be Silent"
heralds a fresh new rock sound for the band. As Alabaster Box's lead singer Naarah says, "it’s bigger, better, and has a more powerful message than anything
we've ever done...we can't wait to show you these songs!"

2 SHOWS IN LOUISIANA
Alabaster Box is taking a short break from writing their next album to make a quick dash south to Louisiana, that is of course after their dash north to
Pennsylvania and hey, let's dash to Virginia. Oh, and while we're dashing...Alabama too. This will be the first Louisiana gig for AB. There's only two shows,
so make sure all you "Louisiana-ians?" don't miss out! :)
